Talking in verses

Talking in verses is like an art form.

Like a song, music playing in the soul.

I do believe I hear spirits better.

When I free myself from prose writing,

and go into verses.

Not poems but free flowing verses.

Lines of no particular length.

Words not needing to rhyme.

Not boxed in format.

But a free flowing stream.

Allowing me to meander here and there.

My spirit team, what is your message for me today?

Ah, you are seeing your worth finally.

Realizing your value.

The fact you have depth, width and length.

Going in deeper and wider than most.

It takes duality, polarity to show you out.

Just as it takes darkness to show out the light.

Wetness to show up the dry.

So, though comparison is said to be odious.

It does serve to bring to light your assets.

You thought you were a bad driver,

until you sat in the car of a client who drove badly.

You thought you have little skills at doing readings,

until you sat with a reader intent on teaching you things,

and did not hear you much less listen to you.

You thought you are very ordinary, of ordinary calibre.

Until you sat with one of much knowledge but little depths.

And you realized, I am deep.

No wonder people appreciate me.

And I used to wonder why, when I am so ordinary,

and possessed no spectacular skills.

I do not see spirits though I do feel them.

I do not hear clearly though I just know things.

Those are actually psychic abilities.

The ability to feel the energies of spirits is no small gift.

Attained after years of meditation and going inward.

The sense of knowing is another spiritual gift.

Gained from horning your inner senses.

You are able to maneuver in the dark.

Feeling your way, sensing your way.

Feeling energies of people and spirits.

And able to know darkly, without knowing how you know.

Those are spiritual gifts of St. John of the Cross.

But what are such gifts?

The most valuable is the path you are on.

Being with God/Infinite Creator.

Seeking the Source, being one with the Source.
