We worry so much.

We fret so much.

We try not to worry so much.

We try not to fret so much.

We tell ourselves we are not worrying.

We tell ourselves we are not fretting.

Yet we are.

There are fears, darkness, shadows lingering,

even when we want them not.

Detaching is the key, we work on it and believe we are.

Yet we are not.

An inner voice says, trust, let go, surrender.

Another set of 3 words from my spirit team.

How do we surrender?

Through love.

Fear keeps you tense, in fetters.

Love frees you.

Love enables you to trust.

But what is love?

That nebulous word, so widely use,

it loses its meaning, its flavor.

Love is that feeling when you look at a baby, a dog.

Pure and innocent.

What do you feel?

Softness, tenderness, gentleness.

You melt as you rest your face against theirs.

Love is that sense of wonder,

when you forgive yourself, and hold yourself close.

Love is that thing that opens your heart.

And you are able to feel and love.

Love is caring, nurturing.

What is love of God?

It is like the missing element in your life, your heart, your soul.

You feel it, like a haunting.

A haunting because you do not know what it is.

You only know you feel it.

And one day, standing where you are in the universe,

you feel it, that feeling of God all around you.

And you realize God is in everything, everywhere.

You feel that uplifting of spirit.

That sense of wonder, that awareness.

And you have found God.

You have experienced God.

And that awareness, the Presence is always with you.

And that is experiencing love of the Creator.

What is love of God for me?

You would understand it more in terms of the Universe.

The term Universe conveys more clearly what God is.

Just as the term, Infinite Creator, Supreme Being.

Universe is wide, all encompassing.

It might not feel as personal, though you can make it so.

Universe, Divine Providence, that is God’s love for you.

Universe is all around you.

It encompasses you.

It embraces you.

You are in it, it is in you.

You pulsate in it.

It pulsates in you.

It knows you.

It has awareness of you.

It moves in a certain pattern.

Always for your good.

For it is love and gravitates only towards love.

Even when humankind tries to destroy it.

It will still always survive, always be.

Because it is the Universe/God/Infinite Creator.

What is love?

There are things you can never fully understand.

Love is one of them.

Just as you can never fully comprehend what God is.

You could look at what Love is.

Love is giving, love is pure, love is sharing.

Love is feeling, love is compassionate.

Love is kind, love is reaching out.

And the list goes on.

How will love give me that trust to let go and surrender?

Ah, therein is that magic of love.

It opens your heart.

It shines its light in you.

Its power eliminates fears, darkness and shadows.

It is God, the Divine Infinity.

Just rest in it, trust in it.

You will never die, you can never die.

Ah, you fear the death of the physical self.

Look at fear of death in the face.

What is it?

You can overcome it by looking at what death is.

It is releasing you from this bondage to earth,

to a place where you came from.

A place of peace, love and harmony.

What if I do not believe there is a place like that?

You only need to look within yourself

and know you are more than this physical self.

And when you catch glimpses of the reality

That is beyond this physical plane.

You know you are more than this body.

And when you experience those euphoric moments,

When the veil is lifted and you experience the other reality.

You know there is only light, and bliss beyond.
