Years ago, I was exercising on the treadmill,

when I saw my soul as a beam of light.

Reaching to the heavens.

In that moment, I knew, I am eternal.

Harm could be done to my body,

bodily harm, illnesses etc,

Nothing would ever touch my soul.

My soul can never be annihilated.

I saw it this beam of light streaming up,

connecting with the Divine.

Today, years later, the Indian mystics

are telling me the same.
